September 7th, 2011

Falls Church, VA– PaneraTech, Inc., has been invited to serve on the industrial advisory board of an envisioned NSF Engineering Research Center on Multiferroic Systems. A team of major international universities, spearheaded by UCLA, applied to the National Science Foundation to establish an Engineering Research Center on Multiferroic Systems. PaneraTech’s CEO & CTO Dr. Bayram said, “Multiferroic structures are considered to offer significant agility and versatility for many sensing technologies. For instance, this technology could play an instrumental role in developing reconfigurable antenna systems that enable enhanced access to the radio spectrum, thus allowing dynamic spectrum access and frequency re-use.”Dr. Bayram continued,”We are extremely honored to be invited and serve on the industrial advisory board of this revolutionary technology center, particularly as we will be guiding the center’s research along with other major industry members, such as Boeing and Northrop Grumman. This is a wonderful fit for our technology focus at PaneraTech because we consider this technology platform a fundamental component of developing forward-thinking wireless sensor systems and conformal and reconfigurable antenna technologies.”
